Baptist Medical Center East's Women's and Children's Services have met some of the highest standards for obstetrics across the nation, and have been selected as one of America’s Best Hospitals for Obstetrics by the Women’s Choice Award as a result. They along with Baptist Medical Center South have also been selected as Best Hospitals for Women’s Services by the women of Central Alabama.

The Women's Choice Award for one of America’s Best Mammogram Imaging Centers was also presented to Baptist Medical Center East and Baptist Medical Center South. With imaging centers carrying Mammogram accreditation (MAP) and the Breast Imaging Center of Excellence (BICOE) seal from the American College of Radiology to serve you with excellence, the imaging centers of Baptist Health are on an esteemed list of award winners nationwide.
