Areeba Zain, MD, MPH

Dr. Areeba Zain received her medical degree from Aga Khan University in Karachi, Pakistan and completed her residency in Family Medicine at the Wellspan Good Samaritan Hospital in Lebanon, Pennsylvania. She is board-certified in family medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine and has clinical interests in hospital medicine, clinical and outcomes research, and outpatient procedures. 

Dr. Zain holds a Master's in Public Health (MPH) and has an interest in healthcare leadership. While in her residency program, she received the Award of Excellence and Resident Scholarship Award in recognition of her high academic performance and strong leadership skills. Dr. Zain is a proud member of the American Board of Family Medicine, American Medical Association, Society of Teachers of Family Medicine, and the North American Primary Care Research Group.

She looks forward to providing compassionate care and serving the communities of the River Region and surrounding areas. Dr. Zain enjoys teaching and is helping grow the future of healthcare by serving as a faculty physician at the Montgomery Family Medicine Residency Program.

She is married to a vascular surgeon (Dr. Raza). Dr. Zain and her husband are blessed with a daughter. The couple enjoys family time, traveling, and hiking.
