Heather Bland, FNP-C

Family Nurse Practitioner, Heather Bland is no stranger to the Baptist Health Family. She has served in our clinics for the past several years, leading efforts caring for our community at our Coronavirus Care Clinic during the height of the pandemic. We are now pleased to welcome her to the Baptist Health Occupational Medicine Clinic.

Heather is a certified, registered nurse practitioner in family medicine. She has over 20 years of diverse nursing experience. Heather received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Central Florida and her Masters of Science in Nursing with an emphasis in Critical Care and Trauma from the University of California, San Francisco. She then earned her Post-Masters in Family Practice from Troy University. Heather is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, American Association of Critical Care Nurse, Emergency Nurses Association, and Alabama State Nurses Association. Her clinical focus is on preventative medicine and women's health.

She is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the American Association of Critical Care Nurses. In her spare time, Heather enjoys traveling, cooking, and watching college football and basketball. Her husband is active duty Air Force proudly serving our country. They have two children and enjoy spending time together.
