About Me
James McGough is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who has worked with Montgomery Cardiovascular Associates since 2016. He works in the Montgomery and Troy offices. He earned a Master’s Degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Troy University. He became especially interested in cardiology because of the complexity of the disease processes, recognizing that no two hearts are the same. They have their own intricacies. His goal is to help his patients and their families understand those complexities and engage them in the care of their most vital organ.
He is an eight-year Veteran of the United States Marine Corps where he was Honorably discharged after serving two tours to Iraq. He enjoys hunting, golf, and CrossFit. He also enjoys spending time with his two children.
