Sergio Perez Beracasa, MD

Dr. Sergio Perez received his medical degree from Universidad del Valle in Cali, Colombia. He continued on to the University of Miami - Jackson Health System in Miami, Florida for his internship and residency in Internal Medicine, as well as fellowships in Cardiovascular Medicine, Interventional Cardiology and Structural Heart Disease.

He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, and Interventional Cardiology, and has Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology (CBNC) certification in Nuclear Cardiology, Internal Medicine, and Pulmonary Disease.

A proud member of the American College of Cardiology (ACC), Dr. Perez is also the recipient of the John W. Fisher Outstanding Cardiology-Subspecialty Fellow Award for 2020-2021.

Dr. Perez and his wife enjoy spending time with family and traveling. In his spare time, Dr. Perez also enjoys the thrill of a great soccer game and the relaxation of diving into a good book.
