Thomas Lindsey, DO

Dr. Lindsey earned his medical degree from the Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine in Dothan, Alabama. He completed his internship and fellowship in Sports Medicine at the University of Alabama Family Medicine Residency Program in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

Dr. Lindsey is board-certified in both Family and Sports Medicine. He is a proud member of the American Medical Association, American Academy of Family Practice, American College of Sports Medicine and the American Medical Society of Sports Medicine. He has received the prestigious Dr. William H. Deshazo Excellence in Sports Medicine award and is a part of Phi Beta Kappa, Phi Eta Sigma, Phi Kappa Phi, Sigma Sigma Phi, and Alpha Epsilon Delta Honor Societies, as well as the Gold Humanism Honor Society, which recognizes medical professionals and other leaders who demonstrate compassionate care.

His clinical interests include chronic medical conditions and maintenance, acute illness, musculoskeletal injuries, fracture management, osteopathic manipulation, sports nutrition, diagnostic ultrasound, viscosupplementation and platelet-rich plasma injections and extracorporeal shock wave therapy.

Working alongside his parents Drs. Mark and Kathy Lindsey, he is excited about serving the people of Central Alabama. He enjoys fly fishing, hunting, dog training and beekeeping in his spare time.
