Medical laboratory science combines the challenges and rewards of medicine and science. At Baptist Health, medical laboratory scientists work in the blood bank, chemistry, hematology, serology and microbiology.
Baptist Health also offers a one-year hospital-based medical technology internship. Graduates of the School of Medical Laboratory Science are eligible to sit for national certification by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP).
