Baptist Health is a We Honor Veterans Level One Partner. This designation recognizes our commitment to military veterans across central Alabama. We want to ensure area service members receive palliative care to overcome a life-limiting illness or the hospice services they need for a peaceful end of life.
Our providers have received additional education about topics including:
- Service-related illnesses and disease
- Veteran benefits Working with the Department of Veterans Affairs
We work closely with the Central Alabama Veterans Health Care System and local outpatient clinics to identify patients with military experience in need of hospice or palliative care.
