Emergency Medicine Fellowship
The Montgomery Family Medicine Residency Program is affiliated with the John D. Moorehouse Emergency Medicine Fellowship Program. This one-year fellowship is designed to provide a comprehensive experience that will enable the fellow to apply primary care medical training to the assessment, treatment, and management of emergent and urgent medical and surgical illnesses and injuries in urban and rural practice settings.
The fellow will work under the supervision of faculty, experienced in all aspects of Emergency Medicine, in busy tertiary emergency departments throughout the Baptist Health system. Regular didactic sessions include topic reviews and procedural skills labs.
